We have listed some often asked questions and corresponding answers below. What is are the printing methods? All of our listed prices include flat printing. We have high end machines that are equal to commercial quality. If you would like to upgrade to any other printing method, please let us know. You will be quoted a price based on your preferred printing method, colors, number of components and invitation design. The following are the printing styles available: Letter Press: Printed type is impressed onto the paper. Thermography: A heat-based process that fuses ink and resin powder to create raised lettering. Engraving: The most formal and expensive printing method. Applied pressure creates raised text. When should I place my order? CartaBlanca takes great care crafting each and every invitation and wedding identity piece. Your invitation sets are created exclusively for you. Each order is made to your specifications and crafted only after we meet your approvals. For these reasons the order process takes approximately four weeks but may take as long as six weeks.We recommend that you submit all elements of your order at least eight weeks before you plan to address your invitations, or generally, 14-16 weeks before your wedding date. (You are going to be very busy allow yourself lots of time) We would like bilingual invitations. Can you do that? Yes, we’ve created bilingual invitations in Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and French. We will however require some support from the client in getting a text file ready in a second language. In cases where character and line placement is essential, we also require guidance and feedback. Can I order wedding identity items without ordering invitations? You may order any of our other items (stag tickets, programs, table cards, etc.) even if you are not ordering invitations from us. Please allow up to four weeks for delivery of these items. Could you change the format on any of your invitations? Our collection formats are folder, vertical, horizontal, tea length. If you like specific artwork or style but prefer a horizontal layout, to say- tea length - we will try to make it happen, these invitations should reflect you. Can you send me samples? Unfortunately, the cost of printed invitations prohibits us from sending out free samples. Sample Invitation Sets are available for each invitation design at a cost of $10 for one set and $8 for each additional kit. The cost of samples will be credited toward your invitation order. Can you accommodate rush orders? At times, we may be able to accommodate rush orders for invitation sets. Rush orders must be approved by CartaBlanca in advance and the customer is responsible for all express delivery charges. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept MasterCard or Visa, Money Orders or echeques. We use PayPal* company for credit card and cheque services. A 50% deposit is required at the time your order is submitted. You will be mailed a confirmation of payment and an estimated delivery date. The balance is due prior to shipping. All prices are in Canadian dollars. What is your Refund Policy? Please understand that you are ordering a custom product. No refunds will be given for invitation sets and personalized wedding identity after the approval stage. You may, however, for any reason, cancel your order BEFORE you approve your proofs. If you choose to cancel your order BEFORE your proofs are approved, CartaBlanca will issue a refund in the amount of your initial payment less a $75.00 processing fee. Refunds will be made in the same form as payment (i.e. a return credit will be given for payment made by credit card.) Does the price include shipping and handling? Shipping and handling costs will be added on the ending price if the invitations or announcements will be mailed back to you. We ship via Canada Post and your package must signed for. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages/products/invitations. Insurance is not included in this fee. FedEx and UPS are also available.
