My husband and I owned a small bomboniere store and we sold ready-made invitations from the “big” books. When a customer requested something a little different I took on the task of making it up. She wanted something more personal, something that reflected their style and personality...  an invitation that help set the theme for their special day. She and her fiancé were both Medieval Times actors  and they wanted a town-crier scroll but couldn't find anyone who would take the time to make one up. Fifteen years have gone by since then and I have had the opportunity to design invitations for weddings, anniversaries, stags, baby and bridal showers and art auctions.
